Founder & Content Strategist

Rian Timadar, M. Hum.

Rian Timadar received her degree in Archeology and Museology at Universitas Indonesia. She is interested in cultural resource management, museum planning, exhibition organizing, and collection research.

 

Rian was involved in research, exhibition, documentation, and conservation of important historical buildings in Jakarta, such as the Jakarta Historical Museum, St. Theresia Church, AA Maramis I Lapangan Banteng building of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance, and others.

She involved in planning the revitalization of museums and the development of new museums managed under the Central Government as well as local governments. She participated in the study, masterplan, and DED of Museum Batik Indonesia managed by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. As well as involved in the making of Museum Gedung Sate in Bandung, West Java.

 

Currently, Rian works as the Chairperson of Museum Pusaka at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. She also trusted to serve as the Chairperson of the Indonesian Museum Association in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.

Ajeng Ayu Arainikasih, S. Hum., M. Arts

 

​Ajeng Ayu Arainikasih is a Ph.D Candidate from Universiteit Leiden the Netherlands. She was trained as an archaeologist, art historian, and museologist from Universitas Indonesia and the University of Adelaide Australia. Currently, she is working as a lecturer at Universitas Indonesia. 

Ajeng is a world traveler. She is also a writer, blogger, and podcaster on museum studies. She wrote her traveling experiences to museums around the world into #MuseumTravelogue book series,  as well as published it on her blog. 

Sometimes, she was involved in researching museums' storyline, both in Indonesia and the Netherlands. Also, speak at various workshops and conferences nationally and internationally.

 

Her expertise is on colonial museums, decolonization, and critical museology, museum education, exhibition, and public programs. As well as on designing interactive activities, particularly for kids and families, in museums.

Timurti Novia P., M. Hum. 

 

Timurti Novia is an archaeologist who had formal Museology education from Universitas Indonesia. She likes to listening to the radio, traveling and sightseeing, particularly eating all the good food! 

 

Timur is interested in culture, history, and museums. She was involved in research, documentation, and conservation of important historical buildings in Jakarta, such as the National Archives Building of the Republic of Indonesia and the Indonesian Ministry of Finance building.

 

She was also involved in data collecting and analyzing archaeological databases of artifacts from underwater sites. As well as involved in planning and revitalizing museums, both managed by the private sector and by the government.

Currently, Timur works as a government employee in the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation. Beforehand, she worked as the curator of the Transportation Museum at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.

Danang Aryo Nugroho, S. Hum.

 

Danang Aryo Nugroho is a visual designer and the man behind Museum-IN's posters. Danang completed his study in Archaeology from Universitas Indonesia. He is interested in cultures, museums, and history. He also likes traveling and photography.

 

He has been involved in the development of some museums in Indonesia as a content researcher. For instance, the Museum DPR RI Jakarta, Museum BPK Magelang, and Museum Sang Hyang Dedari Karangasem.

 

Currently, Danang and his colleagues are developing a media called Skala Cerita.  it is an online media that focus on cultural topics. Danang's dream is to bring Indonesian museums to the digital world. Therefore, the museums and their contents can be accessed anytime, anywhere, by anyone!
